Child Labor Services
Part-time or summer jobs can provide teenagers with opportunities to learn life skills, acquiring hands-on experience and earning spending money. At the same time, we want to protect working minors to ensure they have sufficient time to take advantage of their educational opportunities and maintain their health and moral well-being.
We’re providing resources to help you understand what hours and jobs teens can work and help prevent workplace injuries—because our future is worth protecting.

Veteran Services
Serving those who served.
Veterans have experience and training that employers value. Get personalized help with resumes, job searches interviews, apprenticeships and on-the-job training—all by veterans who care.
Workers’ Compensation
If you’re hurt on the job, you may be eligible for workers’ compensation—coverage that helps with medical care, lost wages and more. We’re helping you understand your rights under Alabama law to receive the best care possible. To get started, report your injury to your employer as soon as possible. There limitations and rules, waiting periods and deadlines, but we’re here to help.
