Veteran-to-Veteran Service Delivery
Our employment representatives support veterans with knowledge backed by their own firsthand service experiences.
Personalized Career Support
Our representatives provide assistance specifically tailored to the individual’s skills, goals and circumstances.
Job Readiness Assistance
Veterans receive the assistance they need to be ready for the job, including résumé development, interview preparation, helping facilitate employer connections and sharing strategies for job searching.
Apprenticeship & Training Access
We help place veterans in paid apprenticeships and on-the-job (OTJ) training.
Resource Navigation
Our team is ready to refer veterans to additional services and benefits programs to ensure they receive the best support.
In accordance with federal regulations, veterans and eligible spouses receive priority of service at all Alabama Career Centers.
Alabama Veterans Resource Center (AVRC)
Established by legislation in 2025 and opened in February 2026, the AVRC in Montgomery represents an expansion of the state’s commitment to veteran career success. This one-stop hub connects veterans, service members and their families to employment, education and support services.
Whether transitioning to civilian life or advancing a career, veterans can access the tools and guidance they’ve earned in one place.
