Discover your next step

Our 57 Alabama Career Centers and satellites, strategically placed around the state, are ready to help you succeed. Job search and development, occupational and educational training, vocational rehabilitation, veterans’ services and unemployment insurance information are all offered.

Centers also work to connect employers to workers, helping locate employees with specific skills. If education is the next step, many of our centers can help with that too. Whatever you need—whether a job-seeker, employer or veteran—our centers are here to help.

Board of Appeals

The Board of Appeals reviews and conducts Unemployment Compensation hearings at the highest administration level, issuing a written decision to all parties involved. Should any party disagree with the board’s decision, they can appeal to the Circuit Court.
